IN-KIND CONTRIBUTIONS AND VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES

WSQA is a not-for-profit organization committed to encouraging and recognizing performance excellence in business, education, public, non-profit and healthcare. By volunteering, you contribute to making Washington a better place to live, learn, and work by creating jobs, increasing business competitiveness, and providing the highest quality and results in education and human services. There are many opportunities to volunteer to assist WSQA with our mission.


Bookkeeping

Tracking of accounts, verifying invoices, preparation of checks for signature. Could also include tax preparation. Experience with a not-for-profit is advantageous.


Administrative Support

Enrolling participants in workshops, conferences, peer groups, etc. Gathering and distributing copies, e-mail notices, and newsletters; answering phone calls and inquiries; completing and distributing board and judges panel meeting minutes and agendas. Support can be a portion or all of these duties.


Media Release

Preparation and submission of media-ready releases.


Marketing Material Design

Design of marketing materials for memberships, sponsorships, training, award application, speaking announcements, etc.


Workshop and Training

Development, review, and editing of training materials.


Information Systems

Building and managing the database.

Web Site

Web site redesign, timely updates, and hosting.


Conferences

Participate on the conference committee working to host conferences throughout the state.
